About Me:

ANNA KINGSLEY

Combining creativity with strategic thinking and business acumen, I have produced integrated marketing campaigns which result in excellent ROI for a diverse range of products/services in a variety of sectors, from Israeli startups to world-wide established brands.

I have been working in online media since its inception. As well as working client-side, I have worked agency side, including working at one of the world's top award-winning agencies, JWT (part of the WPP group) and boutique digital agencies such as BD-NWK, for whom I produced the biggest sales promotion Coca-Cola had ever produced in the UK at the time.

I hold a 2:1 B.A. (Hons) degree from the University of Liverpool and passed with Excellence my exams, from the Institute of Practitioners of Advertising (IPA).

I am a true entrepreneur with many examples from my life as to how I've achieved the nigh-on impossible, having gone against the odds!

Previous to my marketing career, I was a TV Producer/ Director and worked for the main UK broadcasters (BBC, ITV, Channels 4 and 5) as well as NBC Europe, Sky, Universal Films, Pearson, Discovery as well as many other well known channels and production companies. I worked on many well known programmes you may have seen if you lived in the UK such as GMTV and BBC's flagship programmes, Watchdog and Live & Kicking.

Although my TV career was mainly behind the camera, I also appeared live on TV as a Film Critique for Sky and on BBC News as a pundit! I've also interviewed numerous A list celebs and VIPs!

This year I hosted the OurCrowd Summit's Social Media for 15,000 attendees. I also gave one of the most popular ever talks at Google Campus TLV (it was so oversubscribed I had to give the talk twice!). I was also one of the key speakers/teachers for the Social Media Marketing Course at the Web Academy, Urban Place, TLV.

I am an intrepid explorer, and love travelling. Almost 30 years ago, before the days of mobile phones, Google and the web, and when we were still living in the shadow of the Iron Curtain, I broke into Russia, and also crossed China, on a shoestring of a budget, all on my own - I'm actually lucky to be alive! One day I'll find time to write the book - I always joke I'm too busy living the next adventure! My travels have also led me across most of the USA, Europe, Africa, South America and Asia.

In the early 90s I ran a record label which I got licensed to Universal Records! I was also very involved in the music industry - I love music, and have a very eclectic collection!

Alongside my academic studies, I studied classical piano to a high level. At school, I was the lead in several musical comedies. At university I worked hard to become a member of Equity. I also performed in the original cast of Evita in London's West End. Although I'll always be a little stage struck, I left this behind long ago when when I discovered salsa dancing (I've always enjoyed dancing)! As well as performing in the opening ceremony for the London 2012 Olympics, I'm now a qualified Zumba instructor.

I think I'm an interior designer, having renovated two properties of my own - I love art and design.

I play racket sports badly and am addicted to Matcot! In 2013 I made Aliyah and always joke (although it's not too far from the truth!) that it was for Matcot! Want a game?!
